The Homer Alumni Association is proud to offer the following scholarships to current graduating seniors and alumnus of Homer High School. The Homer Alumni Association Scholarship provides scholarships to Homer Community Schools graduating seniors and graduates seeking postsecondary educational opportunities. Funds may be used for expenses such as tuition, fees, books, housing, testing, transportation, or child care. Two scholarships are awarded annually in the name of Dewayne Ballentine and the Class of 1959.
Established by her family after her death in 2010, this scholarship provides funds to Homer Community Schools graduating seniors pursuing postsecondary educational opportunities at Kellogg Community College who do not rank in the top 10 of graduating seniors. Funds may be used for expenses such as tuition, fees, books, housing, testing, transportation, or childcare.
Contributions to these scholarship funds may be directed by mail or online. Please make checks payable to Homer Area Community Foundation with either Homer Alumni Association Scholarship or Kathy Hickerson-Mills Scholarship in the memo.
